Near the howling coyote next to the visitor center, our little group gets its marching orders.  Don Kasper tells us about the three collecting areas we will visit today and reminds us that our mission is to collect anything that looks good.  He will then select any specimens that are unique enough to be part of his research contribution to the Agate Lexicon Database of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
