Even though the cabin appears to be more recent, one look at the can dump clearly shows that this area was indeed the site of the 1907 to 1914 earlier phase of the mine. The hole and cap lid design as well as the crude solder of the top and side seam indicate that many of these cans were from the very early 1900's.
