The machinery for this little two stamp mill was originally hauled up Blue Cut from Indio, amidst much sweatin' and swearin', to its first home at the New Eldorado Mill near Pinyon Well. This was in 1891. In 1930, after the mines there had played out, Bill Keys moved it to this location and operated it until the 1960's!
