Our early arrival at Ludlow gives us almost an hour before our scheduled meeting time with Howard. With time on our hands we decide to explore the rock alignments just off the dirt road that heads north from Ludlow toward Broadwell Dry Lake. We've been by them several times and always wondered about them but never had time to stop. As we pile out of the truck we immediately realize that these are a lot more numerous than we had imagined. This outlined path filled in with red crushed rock is a good example of what can be found there.
