The old trail below the shelter seems rather wide to be a game trail. There were cattle and wild horses in the area some time ago and there are still burros here today. Of course we'd like to believe that it might be one of the old Indian trails leading to the spring that we'll explore tomorrow. Here's a look at the trail as it continues to the west.
