The mound structure from a different angle with Boundary Peak in the background. We wonder whether this might be the site of the old station and water tower that are mentioned as existing at a spot called Queen in the late 1800's and early 1900's. The name Queen seems rather ubiquitous around here. We're in Queen Valley just between Queen Canyon and West Queen Canyon and are visiting the Queen obsidian deposit! Oh, and the mines in Queen Canyon are the Queen, the Indian Queen, and the Queen Canyon!
