As this bee visits the primrose flowers, you can see the pollen "basket" on the outside of its hind legs. As the bee scrapes the pollen off its body, it's caught on the fine hairs of its hind legs. When it arrives back at the hive, the pollen "pellets" are unloaded and stored until needed for food for the young brood.
