Here's a view of what we can only imagine must have been the "glory hole" of the Blind Mule Placer. Around it are stacked rock retaining walls, rock outlined paths, and decorative cairns. We wish we could have met this solitary miner who toiled not just for wealth, but also to add a sense of order and beauty to a claim that he was obviously very proud of.
