We don't have time to check out the petroglyphs which are further up the creek, but as we prowl the area we do make a discovery in the form of a rock shelter with pictographs! We're not showing a wide angle view of the shelter in order to protect it. We were quite surprised to find these sparse pictographs because we have never heard of any being in the area. To the right of the photo you can see part of a digitate anthropomorph with one arm out to the side ending in three fingers.
