This was certainly a busy place! Amidst all the noise and bustle we decided to walk further toward the edge of the mesa to get our first view of the trail, which drops 3,000' in an initial headlong plunge and then more gradually as it follows first Hualapai Canyon and then Havasu Canyon to the village and beyond to the campground.
