The afternoon wind was gusting strongly and we decided to drive back to our snug room at the lodge. We were soon joined by Jenny and Joyce and spent the evening getting our gear together for the pre-dawn drive back out to Hualapai Hilltop. This time, though, we wouldn't just be onlookers!
